Bodygrip traps are the traditional body crushing trap used by professional trappers. This is the 220 and it has a double spring. These traps are true kill traps. Bodygrip Traps are square, heavy steel traps and the two springs are designed to hold strong animals.

Is there a way to keep these traps from rusting out? I ordered a pair in February and they are so rusted now that they do not work. Thanks.

Speed Dip is what you need. It will prevent rusting and allow the traps to work like new. You should be able to save your traps too with a good cleaning and speed dip treatment. Give us a call for help; Chad is the guy in the video and he can answer any questions you might have regarding the process. But the video he did pretty much covers it all and you can see it here:
