Its fairly simple. Basically the chemical is added to the sprayer and then the sprayer is set to the right “setting” depending on the chemical you’re adding. Next, you hook it to your garden hose and turn on the water. When you push the valve handle down (on), water will flow through the top of the sprayer and as it leaves through the injecting rod, the water will siphon a small amount of chemical out which gets mixed with the exiting water so you’re able to apply a concentrate at a labeled rate without having to do any kind of mixing.
Generally this device is used to inject termiticide into hollow block, under a slab, etc. where holes are drilled. But the rod is small, less then 1/2″, and can be used most anywhere including soil injection for systemic applications.
