PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Weatherproof Glue trap which features a replaceable glue pad and bee “lure” which is ideal for catching and keeping honey bees trapped.
Use this trap outside entrance and exit holes following bee treatments when you need to eliminate the rogue and straggler bees which could be active many days following your initial application.
Honey bee nests can be quite huge and though a successful application will eventually kill off the entire nest, it could take a week or more for all members of the colony to die. The use of this trap will help speed the process. This trap features a special food/pheromone lure which is placed out on the glue. This odor is sure to catch rogue bee’s attention and once they land in the glue they are caught for good.
WHERE TO PLACE TRAP: Place traps at the entrance/exit holes where the hive was treated or where you see activity.
WHEN TO REPLACE GLUE PAD: When the replaceable glue pad gets filled, replace it. Glue can remain active for 90-120 days.
WHEN TO REPLACE BEE LURE: Bee lure will remain active for 3-6 months. If glue pads are filling up in a few days, you may move the bee lure from one glue pad to another several times up to a few months.
