PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:   The Mosquito Trap-N-Kill is a patented trapping system highly effective for capturing and containing annoying mosquitoes.  This trap can be used as part of an effective mosquito control program against the types of mosquitoes that can carry diseases like dengue, chikungunya, West Nile virus, and yellow fever.

The Mosquito Trap-N-Kill is a simple black container that mimics the breeding sites for the Aedes mosquito species and kills females when they enter the trap to lay their eggs.  Any eggs that hatch and have a chance to make it to adulthood will be caught by the glue trap as well since they will need a place to land as part of their final stage development when hatching from pupae.

This trap is easy to assemble and can provide a low-cost, low-pesticide alternative to fogging practices.  Included will be 1 trap with inside baffles and 1 glue strip.

WHERE TO USE IT:    Along property borders and in dark, damp/shady areas where mosquitoes are likely to reside when looking for a place to lay eggs.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Powdery material which is applied by sprinkling over turf, plant areas and the perimeter of where you want to repel mosquitoes, gnats and other flying insect pests. Slight odor which is not detectable after a few hours.

WHERE TO USE IT: Around the perimeter of where you want to keep pests away.

RATE OF APPLICATION: 1 lb will treat around 600 to 800 sq/ft. This will vary depending on soil moisture, rain, humidity and other factors. In dry environments, you can expect it to cover more area and last several weeks. In moist, damp areas coverage will be less and the length of residual will be shortened as well.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Plant oil based liquid which is used in the Mosquito Blocker machine. Used to “block” mosquitoes ability to track Co2 and octenol – two of the main ingredients in the breathe of humans as they exhale. These gases carry for several hundred feet and are detectable by mosquitoes. They will track these gases to the source which enables them to find a meal. By blocking their ability to detect these gases you can prevent mosquitoes from tracking you.

RATE OF APPLICATION: Each cartridge will last at least 30 days. However, since it only dissipates as the Blockers are on, you can get over 45 days from any one cartridge. The only reason that it won’t last longer is because it will evaporate under normal conditions and there is no preventing this once opened. Based on this fact you should expect to get about one month per cartridge; a little more if not used a lot.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Battery operated device which releases a combination of plant oils which sticks to the olfactory sensors of mosquitoes and some other biting insects. This sticking affect prevents them from being able to track prey since they will no longer be able to follow the trail of Co2 and octenol – two gases which people exhale and mosquitoes track to find food. Each unit runs off 2 “AA” batteries and holds a cartridge which release a product called Conceal. Each cartridge will last a month if used continuously. If units are shut down the cartridge will last longer and can last over 45 days. The units shut off and on easily and are small enough to be set out inconspicuously.

WHERE TO USE IT: Outside where you want to sit. Such places include decks, patios, pool areas, front porches, water front property, etc. Basically, you can install a Blocker where ever you want to keep away biting insects.

RATE OF APPLICATION: A good general rule to follow is to try to place a unit on every side where mosquitoes might be active. If you are on a deck with two sides open you will probably need at least two units. If you are out in the middle of the yard, you will probably need 3-4 units. Remember that each cartridge will last 30-45 days and should be replaced as they dry out.  However, expect to use one unit for every 1-3 people.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Odorless concentrate which is mixed with water and applied with a pump sprayer. Very active against mole crickets. This product uses the latest active ingredient which works on just about any pest around the home.

WHERE TO USE IT: Outside of the home on any plant, tree, garden area, grass or mulch. Inside the home Talstar is odorless and effective on a wide range of pests.

RATE OF APPLICATION: In the yard: If you are preventive treating, use .5 or 1/2 ounce per 1000 sq/ft of turf. If you have a problem with current activity, use the full 1 ounce per 1000 sq/ft of turf. This means a Pint or 16 ounces of concentrate will treat 16,000-32,000 sq/ft of turf. Quarts or 32 ounce jars will treat 32,000-64,000 sq/ft of turf and the large 3 quart jug can treat 96,000-128,000 sq/ft of turf or roughly up to 2-3 acres.

This fine netting can be used in windows and doors to help keep out small pests like mosquitoes, flies, fruit flies, noseeums and other flying insects. Get it by the foot and install it in windows you want to keep open during the “biting pest” season. It’s not impenetrable but it’s small mesh will do a good job of keeping out over 50% more pests than common window screening. To make it more effective, treat the screens on the windows you keep open weekly with PERMETHRIN. Use a low power fan mist sprayer like this SOLO 2 QUART W/EXTENSION. Permethrin will both kill and repel pests as they gather on your windows. The alternative organic spray to use in place of the Permethrin would be the MOSQUITO GNAT REPELLENT. It won’t last as long and won’t kill a thing but it will repel them for a week or two so that less are likely to enter.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:    Electric fogging machine used to convert water or oil based formulations to a mist. This mist is then directed over an air space where mosquitoes, gnats, noseeums or other pests are active. The mist or fog will quickly kill targeted pests and blanket the vegetation and all surfaces quickly and efficiently. This allows the user to get the job done in a fraction of the time it takes to spray the same area using a liquid. It also reduces the amount of chemical needed by 50% or more.

This machine will flow fog at a rate of 4-12 oz per minute. It has a simple “low-medium-high” setting  and will produce particles that range in size from 25-40 microns.
