TRAP DESCRIPTION: 20″ Wide x 28″ Tall x 72″ Long. With a sliding access door on the back of the trap. Made of 12 Gauge wire this is the Largest Trap Available. Like our other traps the sliding door makes it easy to bait and also for releasing and transporting the animals. This trap is made for the Big Dogs! This is a great trap for animals which are long. It has an easy to set hook design which holds open the spring loaded door. There is a locking device which will prevent the door from opening once it closes. This is important when dealing with large and strong animals which have the ability to roll a trap over. Once the door on this trap closes, the animal is caught for good.
WHERE TO USE IT: Anywhere the problem animal frequents.
RATE OF APPLICATION: One or more. This varies depending on the number of animals in the area, the number of locations you want to place the trap, and how quickly you want to remove the problem animals.

I was wondering if I would be in danger for a bear to go into this trap. Trapping bear is illegal and I was wanting to make sure this trap wouldn’t catch a bear. Thanks.

We’ve been selling live traps for over 20 years and haven’t had one reported case of a bear entering this or any other trap we carry. There are many reasons for this. First and foremost, the trap is too small and simply put, they’re not comfortable entering such a confined metal wire cage.
In summary, there is little to no chance of you capturing one – even if you were trying so no need to worry.

Is there any in the north Texas are that I could see one. Are they heavy enough and large enough for a mountain lion?
Tech Support @ 8:53 am
It will definitely work on Mountain Lions. We’ve sold several over the years for this animal. Plenty strong and large enough for them to be comfortable to enter. Use a live animal for bait and you’ll be sure to get their attention.
