bug spray question

Hi,

I bought a FOGMASTER from you last year along with some VEGETABLES PLUS and EXCITER to control bugs and mosquitos. I’m in Virginia and we’ve had a VERY mild winter, which I fear will cause a bug-filled spring and summer. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do now?

I live in a townhouse with a common area and a lake 100 feet from my back door and I have a large garden out there also. Or should I just begin regular treatments with the Veg Plus (2 parts) and Exciter (1 part)?

Thanks, Jim

We’re in GA and no doubt the bugs are out in full force! In fact I have already fogged and I suggest you do the same. The good thing about fogging now is that you can stay ahead of the problem which will allow you to use less product which will effectively allow you to save cost and time.

Now do you need to include the Exciter right now? Probably not unless you’re seeing bugs and want a fast kill. But if they’re barely active, the Vegetables Plus alone mixed 2 oz per gallon would be fine to start. Now if at any point you feel you need a longer residual (due to excessive rain or heat), move to 4-6 oz of the Vegetables Plus per gallon and/or add some Exciter. But to start, less will usually be fine. That’s what we call “maintenance”.
