PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Rectangular “box” type trap made with corrugated plastic that will last for 1-2 years whether you use the trap inside or out in the yard. The trap measures 32 inches long by 9.5 inches wide by 2.5 inches tall. It comes with 2 glue pads and these pads should be replaced every time a snake is caught or after 3 months.
This trap is basically the LARGE CAHABA SNAKE TRAP but with two main differences. First, its made of corrugated plastic which is subject to weathering and damage so it won’t last indefinitely like the rigid plastic model. Second, this model has entrances on both sides but the entrance way is not the entire side like it is on the large trap. For the most part this shouldn’t matter but it is a difference between the two and should be considered. So if you’re dealing with a large snake, say 4 feet or bigger, the large rigid model which has the entire side open (on both sides) would be the best option. Its not that this model won’t catch large snakes because it will. But having the larger, wide open entry way is an advantage and will get snakes to enter that much faster.
Like the large rigid model, this trap will catch snakes up to 6 feet long is okay for use in any area where snakes are active. Snakes can enter the trap from either side and once inside will get caught on the glue pad where they will be held steadfast until you either destroy the catch or release it from the glue and set back out into the wild.
Snakes are naturally drawn to dark, sheltered spaces so these traps can be used as is. But to get faster results, be sure to place several drops of our SNAKE LURE on the glue pad when setting them out.
Once they enter, the glue pad will securely hold them inside but its important to inspect traps daily to insure any animals caught don’t injure themselves or escape.

RATE OF APPLICATION: 1 or 2 traps per room which is suspected of having a snake. Outside in the yard traps should be set along foundation walls, fence rows, railroad ties, etc. where snakes are likely to travel. Place traps every 30 feet.
